Position: Front End Developer
Location: KAMPALA
Job Type: Contract – 6 Months
About the Role:
We are seeking a young talented Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user-facing features for our cutting-edge web applications. You’ll work closely with our cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to create seamless and visually stunning user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Develop user-facing features using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
§ Collaborate with back-end developer(s) and designers to implement responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.
§ Utilize front end frameworks/libraries such as React.js or Angular to build scalable and maintainable applications.
§ Optimize web applications for maximum speed and performance.
§ Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into functional code.
§ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front end development.
Tech Stack:
Proven Experience in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Less), JavaScript (ES6+), React.js or Angular (Vue.js is a plus), Bootstrap or Material-UI,
Version control with Git, Experience with RESTful APIs
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
§ Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
§ Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
§ Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as React.js or Angular.
§ Solid understanding of responsive web design principles.
§ Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
§ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
§ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
– Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
– Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
