The Role
We’re searching for a visionary UI/UX Designer who is passionate about designing interfaces that are both visually stunning and incredibly intuitive. In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with our dynamic development teams, translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. You’ll play a crucial role in guiding our software products from conception to launch,ensuring they’re not just functional but delightful.
Position: UI/UX Designer
Location: KAMPALA
Job Type: Contract – 1 Year
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction,
visuals, and experience.
– Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
– Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
– Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
– Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
– Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
– Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Requirements:
– Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio in mobile and web applications.
– Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
– Exceptional visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
– Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
– Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
– Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
– Proven experience with Agile Methodologies.
– Proven experience with Design thinking
